INDUSTRY LIAISON AND SALES ASSOCIATE
Industry sponsorship can be a major source of income for congresses, and our relationship with sponsors is important and on-going. A dedicated department assists organizations and committees in developing contacts with potential sponsors, liaising with the pharmaceutical industry and ensuring a productive relationship for all concerned. Kenes seeks an enthusiastic professional who will be responsible for:
- Raising financial support from the pharmaceutical industry
- Approaching relevant companies including all solicitation stages (initial to closing)
- Conducting meetings and liaising with decision makers within the pharmaceutical industry
- Reaching sales targets
- Negotiating with relevant entities
- Researching potential companies
- Following up on execution (with administrative authorities, such as contracts, invoices, etc.)
- Managing relationships with sponsors and the Congress committee

Our new colleague should be enthusiastic with a drive to achieve, and will also have:
- A University education or HBO level
- Previous experience in either scientific publishing, congress organisation, or multimedia
- An affinity with the medical field
- Fluent English and another major language
- Knowledge of databases, Microsoft Office, and social media
- The urge to travel (international travel will be required)
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills
- A creative flair, self-motivation, and confidence
- Experience in strategic planning
- A pro-active self-starter approach and the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team
- Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills
- Confidence dealing with managers and decision makers
- Kenntnisse:
knowledge of Congress Industry preferably in pharmaceutical or medical niche
- Erfahrungen:
Approximately 3 years in Congress organisation
