The core team’s ultimate mission is to improve the overall energy efficiency by the means of machine learning and the smart controls implemented thereof.

We also acknowledge that our task is not easy and therefore customer collaboration is of utmost importance and essence to succeed. In practice this means working with, listening, and learning from the numerous subject matter experts in maritime sector.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • You primarily develop the web frontend of a IoT/AI solution to match the requested functional and non-functional requirements.
  • You can both design and implement UI components and graphical elements leveraging varied UI frameworks and libraries.
  • You will be building creative UI components to visualize data and engage the users based on the agreed UX designs.

Bachelor/Master in STEM subjects or comparable

Here are some "soft qualities" we are looking for:

  • Enjoy venturing with new technologies and not at all afraid of creating something completely new


  • You are well versed with JavaScript frameworks (i.e. Vue, Node, React JS etc.) to build modular UI components which can communicate asynchronously with backend services.
  • Have clear understanding of good code culture and modular design patterns and practices.
  • Nice to have understanding of the API based designs and backend services.
  • Should have good understanding on the Azure IoT platform and Cloud services offering.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with ability to work in international teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German and Finnish is a bonus but working language is English.


  • Min. 6 years of work experience with UI technologies and in building scalable UI components for Cloud based platforms.
  • Plotting charts and graphs with varied frameworks like ChartJS, D3 libraries etc.
  • Should have worked with Databases like PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server, MongoDB etc.
  • Practical know-how about IoT, IIoT and cloud architectures.
  • Bonus: Experience with Scrum.
  • Big bonus: You are a committed frontend developer with graphical skills, ability to come up with new graphical elements, ways to visualize data, and adequately patient to polish the UX to meet a high standards of us.
